Enigma's remote monitoring centre and control room is one of a handful in the country accredited by the SSAIB to BS5979 and BS8418 standard. This certifies it for direct Emergency Service Level 1 Command, allowing immediate dispatch of all three emergency services to attend incidents on monitored sites.

To achieve this level of accreditation, the control room requires an extreme level of resilience which is achieved through the following:

• Dual diverse power supplies
• Back up generator rated to 120% of the maximum load
• 48 hours of generator fuel on site at 120% of maximum load
• Diverse communications
• Steel plate doors, floors, walls and ceilings
• Isolated air and climate system capable of withstanding a chemical attack for at least 48 hours
• Food, water and toilet services again for at least 48 hours.
